Pop/Rock at its best, with a twist of Country
I first reviewed Greg Armstrong´s (as I know him) or Gary D´s song Drifting Away on Broadjam and am still convinced it is one of the best pop ballads I have ever heard, cleverly penned to include strong identifiable elements from the best of pop over the years. This song sets the standard for the album. Using first-rate session players and 6 different lead vocalists (2 female and 4 male) other than himself provides the listener with a pleasant variation in ranges, moods and styles within the genre. This album should appeal to all ages. Yet this is clearly not a compilation. This is a very cohesive offering reinforced by sheer quality and solid production. My favorite track on this CD is ´Smile´ and how this track hasn´t already been picked up by a major and turned into a Billboard top ten hit I´ll never know. This CD is a must for your car CD player. If ever there was a ´Desert Island Disc´CD then this is it. Buy it and enjoy!

It's about time
"It's about a time". Finally an album/cd that is worth listening to from the first to the very last song. It's truly hard to find a whole album/cd that is as enjoyable as this one. Great songs, great singers, great production, no klunkers. This is an artist/group who really gets it. Two words, buy it !!!

WOW!
An incredible compilation of some of Minnesotas top performers merged with an amazing selection of well written songs. It offers a nice variety of song styles, all beautifully arranged and performed. The hidden track at the end is a real treat. Gary D. and his Fabulous Armadillos ROCK! When can we hear more?
