An entertaining performer with over 30 years of musical experience, Ross has played over 2 thousand gigs in hundreds of towns across Canada, and continues to perform regularly throughout Western Canada.
He is a natural opening act or M.C. and draws on over 50 original songs. His main musical influences include Jim Croce, John Prine, Jimmy Buffet and Van Morrison.
With a repertoire that features over 1,000 popular songs, Ross has that unique ability to “play for the crowd”, is rarely stumped on requests, and does some great tribute sets of Roy Orbison, Paul Simon, Willie Nelson, The Eagles and many others.
He is musically active in the community of Tsawwassen, 30 minutes south of Vancouver, where Ross performs regularily and teaches music.
Some memorable performances include:
• 1996 – Tsawwassen Sun Festival for a crowd of 2,400.
• 1979 – Warm-up Act for the Amazing Rhythm Aces.
• 1978 - 80 – Four appearances on VU-13 TV’s Vancouver Show.
• 1973 – Montreal Folk Workshop with Jesse Winchester.
