Countless experiences moving and shaking behind the scenes of the Local industry has built a confident, well rounded, streetwise individual in "Dameyon" real name Damian Hall (Damian meaning "the Tamer"). Coming from behind the scenes of many well known joints Locally working as an audio engineer / Producer for CRS DIGITAL RECORDINGS.
He started his professional Career in Music at the age of 17 right out of HIGH School although his interest started from an early age of 10. However you slice it Music was always going to be a part of his life following his Family Line as his biological Father was a Dj, Uncle into Theatre(Dance) and well known Hubert Grant who once was rumoured to have been offered to join the platters before he died of a drug overdose. All these and many more all followed their hearts to the arts.
Now 24 years old,Dameyon For about 3 years now has been back and forth organizing an agreement with Well known starter of the "Open Royalty Gateway" Richard Bron who basically is trying to shape the young Dameyon into the digital distributors' dream. An Independent Label/Artist with the potential to draw the same attention and rotation as A Major Label/Artist. With Technology constantly changing so is the industry and making that more and more possible with the internet and now with an entity dameyon has been a member of for a while now called BroadJam, Offering a program where independent artist and labels alike can submit music to the same radio station directors that Warner music and any Major would have access to.
Despite alot of things going his way however, It's never always been a smooth road for this seasoned rookie. He has had alot of close calls in his Life. Both legally and physically. Calls answered and dismissed only as fate would allow. However Dameyon is still here and so far has a daughter to show for it, a daughter "Kai" whom he says is his inspiration and motivation to keep going and an Uncle serving Life in prison to encourage him to stay on point and out of that place.
Business is business no matter what with the Young CEO of JustCool Records and Dameyon Productions. Two promising companies started by the youngster.and backed by a solid team of young motivated individuals.making all the right moves and making all the right connections thus far.
